What is Titanium Hex Bars?

Commercially pure grades such as Grade 2 or Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) are used mainly in the production of titanium hex bars. Up to 90–99.5% of these bars are usually made of titanium, with alloying elements like aluminium and vanadium (in Grade 5) added for strength. While Grade 5 has exceptional fatigue resistance and weldability, Grade 2 offers tensile strength of about 344 MPa, while Grade 5 can surpass 900 MPa. Titanium hex bars are ideal for high-performance applications and precision machining because they are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and have excellent mechanical integrity over a wide temperature range.
