Ti-3Al-1.5Mn (approximately) is the typical composition of titanium grade 8, which also contains 1.5% manganese and 3% aluminium. This alloy provides exceptional corrosion resistance, good weldability, and a good balance of moderate strength. It has an approximate elongation of 15–20%, a yield strength of 530 MPa, and a tensile strength of 620 MPa. Applications requiring strength and corrosion resistance at the same time can benefit from the alloy’s mechanical stability in oxidising and mildly reducing environments as well as its consistent performance at high temperatures.

Titanium Grade 8 Bars and Rods offer high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and superior performance in high-temperature environments, making them ideal for aerospace and marine applications.
Titanium Grade 8 combines 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium, offering enhanced strength and heat resistance compared to other grades, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications.
Titanium Grade 8 bars and rods are widely used in marine fittings, airframe parts, and aerospace structures where materials that are strong, lightweight, and resistant to corrosion are crucial. The alloy is perfect for desalination systems, offshore oil platforms, and chemical processing equipment because of its exceptional performance in chloride-containing environments. Because of its biocompatibility and resistance to sterilising conditions, it is utilised in the medical field for non-implantable surgical instruments. Titanium Grade 8 provides a dependable answer for demanding structural and corrosive service conditions and is also used in industrial piping, heat exchangers, and power generation.
We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
