Based in Kolkata, India, Neil Metals is a well-known manufacturer and supplier of high-grade titanium Grade 7 bars and rods for use in extremely corrosive industrial settings. Because palladium is added, Titanium Grade 7 is well known for its exceptional resistance to oxidising and reducing media as well as its superior corrosion resistance. Neil Metals delivers precision-engineered bars and rods that meet international standards, serving industries such as chemical processing, marine, desalination, and energy. With a strong focus on quality, traceability, and on-time delivery, Neil Metals has earned a solid reputation as a reliable source for titanium alloy products in India and abroad.
Titanium Grade 7 (UNS R52400) is a commercially available, pure titanium alloy that has been enhanced with 0.12–0.25% palladium to greatly increase corrosion resistance, particularly in environments that contain acid and chloride. It has comparable mechanical qualities to Grade 2 and contains roughly 99.2% titanium. The alloy is very ductile and formable, with a tensile strength of about 344 MPa and a yield strength of about 275 MPa. Both industrial and marine service conditions can benefit from its high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, as well as its ability to maintain performance over a broad temperature range.

No, Titanium Grade 7 Bars and Rods do not attract magnets. Titanium, including Grade 7, is a non-ferromagnetic material, meaning it has little to no magnetic properties and is not attracted to magnets.
Chemical processing facilities place a high value on titanium grade 7 bars and rods for use in heat exchangers, reactors, and piping systems that handle aggressive media. They are perfect for environments with chlorine dioxide in the pulp and paper industry because of their remarkable resistance to corrosion. They are employed in seawater handling systems and desalination units in the maritime industry. Because of its dependability and durability in corrosive environments, Grade 7 is also used in the nuclear and power generation industries. It is also utilised in food processing and pharmaceutical equipment, where non-toxic, corrosion-resistant materials are necessary for hygienic and safety reasons.
We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
