What is Titanium Grade 12 Bars/ Rods?

Compared to commercially pure titanium grades, Titanium Grade 12 is a titanium alloy that has been slightly enhanced in strength and corrosion resistance by the addition of 0.8% nickel and 0.3% molybdenum. It usually has an elongation of roughly 18%, a yield strength of 345 MPa, and a tensile strength of 483 MPa. Particularly in mildly reducing and oxidising conditions, this alloy provides exceptional resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. Titanium Grade 12 is a versatile material for high-pressure and high-temperature industrial applications because it also retains good weldability, toughness, and thermal stability.
