A leading producer and supplier of Super Duplex Steel Square Bars, Neil Metals is based in Kolkata, India, and is renowned for its remarkable strength and resistance to corrosion. Our Super Duplex square bars are expertly designed to function in extremely demanding settings, including the chemical, power generation, offshore, and marine industries. These bars perform better than regular duplex and stainless steel grades because they are made to resist harsh media and high-pressure applications. Neil Metals guarantees every product satisfies international standards and meets a variety of industrial needs in India and beyond with a strong commitment to quality, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
The composition of Super Duplex Steel Square Bars is roughly 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, and 3–5% molybdenum, with manganese and nitrogen added. High tensile strength (usually over 750 MPa) and exceptional yield strength—nearly twice that of austenitic stainless steels—are provided by this dual-phase structure (austenite and ferrite). In chloride-rich environments, these bars show outstanding resistance to stress corrosion, cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion. They are appropriate for both structural and crucial high-pressure applications because they maintain their good weldability and toughness over a broad temperature range.

Super Duplex Steel Square Bars are perfect for applications requiring a high degree of strength and corrosion resistance. They are widely used in chemical processing facilities, desalination plants, subsea pipelines, offshore oil and gas platforms, and marine equipment. They are ideal for structural elements in saltwater and brine applications due to their exceptional resistance to erosion and corrosion. They are also utilised in flue gas cleaning systems, pulp and paper industries, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers. In structural applications, their exceptional mechanical strength enables weight reduction while preserving high durability and dependability under both static and dynamic load-bearing circumstances.
We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
