Based in Kolkata, India, Neil Metals is a renowned producer and supplier of Super Duplex Steel Hollow Bars with exceptional performance. Our hollow bars are perfect for demanding industrial applications because of their remarkable strength, superior corrosion resistance, and high durability. Our Super Duplex hollow bars are made in accordance with international standards and come in a range of sizes and specifications to accommodate both standard and unique needs. At Neil Metals, we prioritise quality, accuracy, and prompt delivery while catering to both domestic and international markets in sectors like chemical processing, power generation, oil and gas, and marine.
The typical composition of Super Duplex Steel Hollow Bars is 3–5% molybdenum, 6–8% nickel, and 24–26% chromium, with trace amounts of manganese and nitrogen. Increased mechanical strength and resistance to corrosion are provided by this austenite and ferrite dual-phase structure. The material has a yield strength of more than 550 MPa and a tensile strength of 750–800 MPa. It performs exceptionally well against pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking caused by chloride. These hollow bars are also dependable in the face of high temperatures and pressures because they retain good weldability and impact toughness.

Super Duplex Steel Hollow Bars are frequently utilised in applications that call for exceptional corrosion resistance in addition to high strength. They are perfect for offshore platforms, pipelines, and downhole components in the oil and gas industry. They are used in the maritime sector for equipment exposed to saltwater and shipbuilding. These bars are used in fluid handling systems, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers in chemical and petrochemical facilities. They are also appropriate for hydraulic and structural applications in power plants, desalination units, and heavy machinery due to their strength and durability. They are a flexible engineering solution because of their hollow structure, which reduces weight without sacrificing performance.
We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
