Neil Metals is a renowned manufacturer and supplier from Kolkata, India, offering high-quality Stainless Steel 904L Forgings. Established with a reputation for excellence and precise engineering, the company provides resilient and corrosion-proof forging solutions to clients from multiple industries. With the latest technology and expert craftsmanship, Neil Metals produces products that conform to international quality standards, providing consistent performance even in harsh conditions. Their focus on customer satisfaction, competitive prices, and timely supply makes them a first choice for Stainless Steel 904L forging needs in domestic and overseas markets.
Stainless Steel 904L Forgings contain high percentages of chromium (19–23%), nickel (23–28%), molybdenum (4–5%), copper (1–2%), and low carbon content (max 0.02%). This composition offers high corrosion resistance, particularly in acidic and chloride-containing environments. Mechanically, 904L has a tensile strength of 490 MPa, yield strength of 220 MPa, and elongation of 35%, with very good toughness even at subzero temperatures. These characteristics make it highly suitable for key components that require durability and resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, particularly in high-stress and aggressive industrial processes.

Stainless Steel 904L Forgings are extensively employed in chemical processing, oil and gas, marine, pulp and paper, and pharmaceuticals industries because of their superior corrosion resistance against sulfuric acid and chloride corrosion. Their applications in the industry involve heat exchangers, flanges, fittings, valve bodies, shafts in pumps, and pressure vessels. Their excellent strength, formability, and resistance to intergranular corrosion make them suitable for components handling aggressive media. These forgings also go into pollution control equipment and seawater handling systems, providing long life and low maintenance in harsh operating environments.
We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
