One of the top producers and suppliers of stainless steel 446 rectangular bars is Neil Metals, a reputable brand in stainless steel solutions with headquarters in Kolkata, India. Our SS 446 rectangular bars are made with premium materials and precise engineering, and they are well-known for their exceptional performance in corrosive environments and resistance to high-temperature oxidation. These bars are extensively utilised in furnace, petrochemical, and power generation applications. In order to gain the trust of customers in India and the international industrial markets, Neil Metals focusses on product integrity, dimensional accuracy, and prompt delivery.
High in chromium (23–27%) and low in carbon (maximum 0.20%), stainless steel 446 is a ferritic, heat-resistant alloy. It is especially made to have outstanding resistance to scaling and oxidation at high temperatures. The alloy has good creep strength, respectable ductility, and a moderate tensile strength (about 485 MPa). SS 446 can be cold-worked to increase strength even though heat treatment cannot harden it. It is appropriate for demanding thermal and industrial applications because it is magnetic and shows outstanding corrosion resistance in sulfur-rich atmospheres and high-temperature oxidising conditions.

The main applications for stainless steel 446 rectangular bars are in corrosive and high-temperature settings. They are perfect for radiant tubes, exhaust manifolds, kilns, incinerators, furnace parts, and heat exchangers. They are appropriate for metallurgical equipment, petrochemical refineries, and power plants due to their exceptional resistance to oxidation and thermal fatigue. Boiler baffles, chemical processing facilities, and reheating furnaces are additional applications for SS 446 rectangular bars. Even under extended thermal cycling, these bars provide long-term performance, structural stability, and dependability in demanding industrial environments where exposure to sulphur gases, hot steam, or oxidising agents is frequent.
We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
