Based in Kolkata, India, Neil Metals is a reputable producer and supplier of high-end stainless steel 431 rectangular bars. Our SS 431 rectangular bars are perfect for demanding mechanical and structural applications because of their exceptional strength, superior toughness, and exceptional resistance to corrosion. To satisfy global standards, we use sophisticated processing methods and stringent quality control when making these bars. Our products are used in a wide variety of industries, such as engineering, aerospace, marine, and defence. Neil Metals is dedicated to providing stainless steel solutions that surpass client expectations in India and beyond. The company is well-known for its prompt delivery, accurate finishes, and customer-focused service.
The high-strength martensitic stainless steel alloy used to make Stainless Steel 431 Rectangular Bars is made up of up to 0.20% carbon, 1.25–2.5% nickel, and 15–17% chromium. This composition provides good ductility, moderate corrosion resistance, and excellent tensile strength (up to 850 MPa). The substance has magnetic qualities and can be made harder by heat treatment. Because of its well-known resistance to oxidation, fatigue, and stress corrosion, SS 431 is perfect for high-load and high-wear applications in mechanical and corrosive environments.

In industries where strength, resistance to wear, and moderate resistance to corrosion are critical, stainless steel 431 rectangular bars are widely used. Heavy-duty industrial parts, hydraulic tools, aerospace fasteners, marine shafts, and pump components are among the common uses. These bars are especially well-suited for load-bearing and structural applications in the automotive, defence, and oil and gas industries. They are also perfect for use in chemical plants, paper mills, and power generation equipment because of their resilience to stress and exposure to corrosive environments. They can be customised to meet the needs of precision engineering due to their machinability and heat-treating capability.
We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
