Stainless Steel 410 Flat Bar is a martensitic stainless steel alloy with 11.5–13.5% chromium and up to 0.15% carbon content. This alloy offers excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in mild environments, and very good mechanical properties like high tensile strength (approximately 480–650 MPa), yield strength (at least 270 MPa), and good hardness. It also possesses fair ductility and machinability. In addition, heat treatment increases its hardness and strength further, which is appropriate for wear-resistant and abrasion-resistant applications. Stainless Steel 410 has moderate corrosion resistance and is magnetic in both hard and annealed states.

Stainless Steel 410 Flat Bars have a broad range of applications where there is a need for strength, hardness, and moderate corrosion resistance. Typical applications include pump and valve parts, turbine blades, fasteners, cutlery, and machine components. In engineering and automobile industries, 410 flat bars are used in gears, shafts, and structural parts subject to wear and stress. Due to their heat-treatability, 410 flat bars are also suitable for tools and mechanical applications that need a hard surface. 410 flat bars are used in construction, power generation, and oil and gas industries for load-carrying and abrasion-resistant uses as well.
We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
