Based in Kolkata, India, Neil Metals is a well-known producer and supplier of stainless steel 321 bars and rods. We provide stainless steel solutions that satisfy international performance and durability standards, and we have a solid reputation for quality and dependability. The titanium-stabilized austenitic alloy stainless steel 321 is renowned for its ability to withstand high-temperature oxidation and intergranular corrosion. Our SS 321 bars and rods are designed to withstand rigorous industrial use, especially in the chemical, power generation, and aerospace industries. For customers in India and abroad, Neil Metals guarantees expertly crafted goods, prompt deliveries, and customer-focused service.
About 17–19% chromium and 9–12% nickel are present in stainless steel 321 bars and rods. Titanium, which is at least five times the carbon content, stabilises the steel to stop carbide precipitation. With a yield strength of about 205 MPa and a tensile strength of about 515 MPa, this alloy offers exceptional mechanical strength. Even at high temperatures up to 870°C, it provides good ductility and toughness. Because of its exceptional resistance to oxidation and creep, SS 321 can be used for welding and high-temperature applications without running the risk of intergranular corrosion.

321 Stainless Steel Industries that need high strength and corrosion resistance at high temperatures frequently use bars and rods. These consist of exhaust manifolds in automobile and aircraft systems, heat exchangers, furnace parts, thermal oxidisers, and aerospace components. SS 321 is used in machinery that works with acidic or hot fluids in the chemical processing and refinery industries. The alloy is perfect for welded components because of its titanium content, which guarantees structural stability during thermal cycling. It is also a popular option for high-temperature gaskets and flanges, as well as pressure vessels, due to its machinability and resistance to scaling.
We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
