Stainless Steel 317L Hollow Bars are low-carbon austenitic stainless steel alloys, featuring 18–20% chromium, 11–15% nickel, and 3–4% molybdenum, with a maximum carbon content of just 0.03%. This lower carbon content boosts resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding, while the high molybdenum levels provide excellent protection against pitting, crevice corrosion, and harsh chemicals like sulfuric and acetic acids.
