Stainless Steel 316Ti Forgings are produced from a titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel alloy that offers high resistance to intergranular corrosion. The standard chemical composition contains 16–18% Chromium, 10–14% Nickel, 2–3% Molybdenum, and a minimum amount of Titanium to stabilize the material. Other constituents are Carbon, Manganese, Silicon, and Phosphorus in limited proportions. The material provides a tensile strength around 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and 40% elongation, suitable for use where high strength and thermal resistance are needed in corrosive conditions.

Stainless Steel 316Ti Forgings find extensive application in industries requiring high performance under corrosive and high-temperature conditions. The uses are pressure vessels, heat exchangers, marine fittings, exhausts, flanges, and valves. Because of their chloride resistance and acid-proofing, they are particularly useful in chemical processing, desalination plants, offshore oil rigs, and drug manufacturing. Their titanium content avoids sensitization upon welding and prolonged heating, making them long-lasting and structurally sound. These forgings are specifically suited for application under aggressive conditions where corrosion resistance and mechanical stress are paramount to the success of operations.
We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
