Stainless Steel 310 Hex Bars and Rods are produced with an austenitic stainless steel alloy with 24–26% chromium, 19–22% nickel, and a carbon content up to 0.25%. This alloy provides 310 superior resistance to oxidation, sulfidation, and thermal cycling at high temperatures. It provides a tensile strength of about 520 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and acceptable ductility and toughness. The hexagonal form offers improved grip and machinability for special components, while stability of the alloy under mechanical and thermal stress guarantees long-term performance in extreme conditions.
