Stainless Steel 310 Forgings contain 24–26% chromium and 19–22% nickel with a carbon level up to 0.25%. This austenitic stainless steel alloy has excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization, and sulfidation at elevated temperatures. It imparts a tensile strength of approximately 520 MPa and yield strength of 205 MPa, with satisfactory ductility and toughness even at high temperature conditions. The alloy exhibits structural stability against heat stress and possesses good creep resistance. Its excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance make it suitable for forging components subjected to thermal cycling and high-pressure applications.
