Stainless Steel 304 Forgings are primarily made up of chromium (18–20%) and nickel (8–11%), along with trace amounts of manganese, silicon, and carbon. SS 304 forgings boast a tensile strength of around 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40%. The Brinell hardness is approximately 201 HB.
