Stainless Steel 304H Bars and Rods mainly consist of chromium (18–20%) and nickel (8–11%), with a higher carbon content (0.04–0.10%) compared to standard 304. This increased carbon enhances strength and creep resistance at high temperatures. Typical mechanical properties include a tensile strength of about 585 MPa, yield strength of 240 MPa, and an elongation of 40%. The Brinell hardness is roughly 217 HB. This alloy provides good oxidation resistance up to 870°C and maintains excellent structural integrity under heat, making it suitable for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and high-temperature industrial systems.
