17-7 PH Hex Bars and Rods Stainless Steels are precipitation-hardening stainless steels consisting of about 17% chromium, 7% nickel, and traces of aluminum. They possess good mechanical properties with tensile strength of 930–1310 MPa and yield strength of up to 1170 MPa, based on the heat treatment condition (e.g., Condition A, TH 1050, or RH 950). They exhibit good fatigue endurance, low distortion after heat treatment, and fair corrosion resistance. The hexagonal form provides better gripping and machining, suitable for precision parts and fastening systems in high-stress applications.
