Stainless Steel 15-5 PH Hex Bars and Rods are martensitic precipitation-hardening stainless steels containing about 15% chromium and 5% nickel, along with traces of copper and other elements. They provide great mechanical properties with tensile strength of 930–1310 MPa and yield strength of 860–1170 MPa, depending on the heat treatment condition (H900 to H1150). The alloy offers great corrosion resistance, high strength, good toughness, and dimensional stability. The hex shape facilitates easy machining and reliable fastening applications, and hence it is suitable for high-stress and corrosive environments.
