Nickel Alloy Square Bars consist mainly of nickel—well over 60%—and other elements such as chromium, molybdenum, and iron, based on the grade of alloy, e.g., Alloy 625 or Alloy 718. These bars have excellent mechanical properties, ranging from high tensile strength up to 1380 MPa, good ductility, and excellent resistance to high temperatures and corrosive conditions. Their yield strength and hardness may also be further improved by cold working or heat treatment, which allows them to be used in severe operating conditions without affecting performance or structure.
