Monel Rectangular Bars are fabricated from a group of nickel-copper alloys most typically Monel 400 or Monel K500. Monel 400 generally consists of approximately 63% nickel and 30–34% copper, traces of iron, manganese, and silicon. It possesses superior corrosion resistance in seawater and acidic conditions. Mechanical characteristics are tensile strength ranging from 550–620 MPa, yield strength of 170–275 MPa, and elongation up to 35%. Monel K500 further contains aluminum and titanium for increased hardness and strength.
