Neil Metals is a prominent producer and exporter of Monel Forgings, with its operations in Kolkata, India. With a focus on high performance nickel-copper alloys, Neil Metals supplies Monel forgings that are of the highest international standards in terms of strength, corrosion resistance, and reliability. Monel forgings are designed through precision-controlled processes to provide the best possible grain structure, mechanical performance, and dimensional tolerances. Servicing industries like marine, chemical processing, aerospace, and oil & gas, Neil Metals delivers bespoke forging solutions for demanding industrial applications. Backed by state-of-the-art facilities, highly skilled technicians, and uncompromising quality principles, the company is a reliable source of highly capable and long-lasting forged parts.
Monel Forgings are mostly produced with Monel 400 and Monel K500 alloys. Monel 400 has around 63% nickel and 30–34% copper, with high corrosion resistance in marine and acid environments. Monel K500 contains aluminum and titanium, which by age-hardening increase its strength and hardness. Mechanical properties are tensile strength between 550 and 860 MPa and yield strength between 170 and 690 MPa, based on alloy and heat treatment. Monel forgings are produced in ring, disc, shaft, block, and flange forms, and may be shaped to a customer’s specific dimensional and mechanical specifications.

Monel Forgings have broad application where there are high stress and corrosive conditions because of their high strength, toughness, and chemical attack resistance. Marine propeller shafts, pump and valve parts, heat exchanger components, fasteners, flanges, and fittings are typical applications. They are used in downhole instruments, safety-relevant parts, and instrumentation in the oil and gas industry. They are resistant to saltwater and acidic media environments and are non-magnetic and non-sparking, which makes them appropriate for explosive environments. They are best suited for shipbuilding and chemical processing due to resistance to saltwater and acidic media. Monel forgings provide extended service life in demanding conditions for severe industries.
We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
