Neil Metals, based in Kolkata, India, has made a name for itself as a leading manufacturer and supplier of Incoloy 925 Forgings. These products are designed to provide high-strength, corrosion-resistant solutions for critical applications in tough environments. With a solid reputation for quality, precision, and compliance with international standards, Neil Metals caters to various industries, including oil & gas, marine, chemical processing, and power generation. Their Incoloy 925 forgings are particularly recognized for their exceptional resistance to corrosion, pitting, and stress corrosion cracking. Thanks to their advanced infrastructure and a strong focus on customer satisfaction, Neil Metals guarantees reliable supply, custom dimensions, and timely delivery to meet the rigorous demands of industrial clients.
Incoloy 925 Forgings are made up of nickel (42–46%), iron (at least 22%), chromium (19.5–23.5%), molybdenum (2.5–3.5%), copper (1.5–3.0%), along with aluminum and titanium. This age-hardenable alloy is known for its impressive mechanical strength and outstanding corrosion resistance, especially in aggressive environments that contain sulfides and chlorides. Incoloy 925 boasts a tensile strength ranging from about 760 to 930 MPa and a yield strength between 550 and 690 MPa. Additionally, the alloy excels in resisting stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion, making it ideal for high-pressure and high-temperature applications in demanding service conditions.

The ideal temperature range for forging Incoloy 925 is between 1,800°F (982°C) and 2,200°F (1,204°C). Forging should be done within this range to achieve optimal material properties and avoid overheating.
Incoloy 925 forgings require minimal maintenance due to their excellent corrosion resistance. Regular inspection for signs of wear, cracks, or environmental damage is recommended to ensure long-term performance.
Incoloy 925 forgings have limited high-temperature strength beyond 1,600°F (871°C) and may suffer from reduced ductility in extreme conditions. They also exhibit moderate resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in highly aggressive environments.
Incoloy 925 Forgings find extensive use in industries that require exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and durability in extreme environmental conditions. In the oil and gas sector, they are utilized for downhole equipment, tubing, valves, and hangers that are exposed to sour gas (H₂S) environments. The marine industry employs them in seawater systems, shafts, and structural components. In chemical processing, Incoloy 925 is used in pump shafts, flanges, and pipe fittings that need to endure strong acids and chlorides. Power generation and aerospace applications also benefit from its remarkable mechanical stability and corrosion resistance, ensuring a long service life even in highly corrosive environments.
