**Hastelloy C276 Bars and Rods** (UNS N10276) are nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloys with the following typical composition: **57% Nickel**, **15.5% Molybdenum**, **16% Chromium**, **4% Iron**, and **3.5% Tungsten**, with trace Cobalt, Manganese, and Vanadium. This pairing offers outstanding resistance to a broad spectrum of **aggressive chemicals**, such as **ferric and cupric chlorides**, **hot contaminated mineral acids**, **chlorine**, **formic and acetic acids**, **seawater**, and **brine solutions**. C276 bars have a **tensile strength ranging from 760–790 MPa**, **yield strength of approximately 300–350 MPa**, and **elongation of up to 50%**, with an unparalleled combination of corrosion resistance and mechanical strength.

**Hastelloy C276 Rods and Bars** find wide application in **heat exchangers, reactor vessels, evaporators, flue gas scrubbers, waste treatment plants, pickling systems,** and **offshore oil and gas platforms**. They are particularly recommended for processes with **strong oxidizers, wet chlorine gas, and acidic or chlorinated solutions**, where conventional stainless steels are not effective. Because of their greater resistance to **crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and pitting**, C276 bars are a first-choice material for engineers and fabricators dealing with the most demanding processing conditions. Their weldability, formability, and reliability make them suitable for precision parts and long-term service in extreme chemical and thermal conditions.
