Aluminium 5754 is a non-heat-treatable alloy that mainly consists of magnesium (2.6–3.6%), along with trace amounts of manganese (≤0.5%), chromium (≤0.3%), iron, silicon, and titanium, with aluminum making up the rest. This alloy is known for its excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in marine and industrial settings. Its mechanical properties include tensile strength ranging from 190 to 330 MPa, yield strength between 80 and 280 MPa, and elongation of 12–20%, depending on the temper.
