Neil Metals, based in Kolkata, India, has earned a solid reputation as a reliable manufacturer and supplier of Aluminium 3003 forgings. They cater to industries that require excellent corrosion resistance, moderate strength, and outstanding formability. Renowned for their commitment to delivering high-quality forged products, Neil Metals also provides tailored solutions for a variety of applications, including architectural projects, food processing, and general industrial needs. With a strong focus on precision manufacturing, customer satisfaction, and adherence to international quality standards, Neil Metals offers Aluminium 3003 forgings that are perfect for non-heat-treated, cost-effective, and durable components in both local and global markets.
Aluminium 3003 is a non-heat-treatable alloy that mainly consists of aluminum (96.8–99%), along with manganese (1.0–1.5%) and small amounts of copper (0.05–0.20%), iron, silicon, and zinc. It boasts a tensile strength ranging from 140–200 MPa, a yield strength of 115–180 MPa, and an elongation of 10–20%, depending on the temper. Known for its impressive corrosion resistance, excellent workability, and moderate strength, Aluminium 3003 excels in forging and cold-working processes, making it suitable for a wide array of non-structural applications.

Aluminum 3003 offers excellent corrosion resistance, good formability, lightweight, and high strength-to-weight ratio, making it ideal for custom forgings in industries like aerospace, automotive, and construction.
Aluminum 3003 is not ideal for high-temperature forging applications due to its low strength at elevated temperatures. It is more suitable for applications requiring good formability at moderate temperatures.
Aluminum 3003 has good workability, making it easy to forge. Its excellent formability allows for smooth shaping, but it requires careful temperature control to avoid material damage during forging.
Industries that prioritize corrosion resistance and formability over high strength extensively use Aluminium 3003 forgings. In the architecture and construction fields, they are utilized for roofing, siding, rainwater goods, and decorative features. The food and beverage sector relies on 3003 for cookware, storage containers, and kitchen equipment, thanks to its non-toxic and non-reactive properties. In HVAC and refrigeration, it’s commonly found in ductwork and heat exchanger components. Additionally, it’s used in automotive trim, fuel tanks, and signage. With its ease of fabrication, weldability, and corrosion resistance, Aluminium 3003 is an excellent choice for everyday and light-duty industrial applications.
We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
