Aluminium 1100 is a commercially pure grade that contains at least 99.0% aluminum, along with small amounts of copper (up to 0.05%), iron (up to 0.95%), silicon, zinc, and manganese. This alloy isn’t heat-treatable, but it boasts excellent corrosion resistance, thermal conductivity, and high ductility. Its tensile strength ranges from 90 to 150 MPa, yield strength from 30 to 95 MPa, and it can elongate up to 35%, depending on the temper.
