Aluminium 1060 is a commercially pure grade, containing at least 99.6% aluminum, along with small amounts of iron (≤0.35%), silicon (≤0.25%), copper, manganese, magnesium, and zinc. It’s non-heat-treatable and boasts excellent thermal and electrical conductivity. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength ranging from 60 to 120 MPa, yield strength around 30 to 80 MPa, and elongation of up to 35%, depending on the temper.
